About us

Welcome to Guardian Crest Care

At Guardian Crest Care, we recognize that selecting the right support for a loved one is a profound and deeply personal decision—one that necessitates far more than just clinical intervention. For years, families across Kerala have placed their unwavering trust in us for compassionate, high-caliber in-home nursing services that prioritize comfort, dignity, and absolute peace of mind.

As one of Kerala’s premier home nursing agencies, we are proud to uphold international benchmarks of excellence, guided by a sophisticated management team based in the UK and USA. We offer an expansive suite of specialized services, including elite home nursing, dedicated elder care, compassionate palliative support, professional physiotherapy at home, specialized dementia care, and comprehensive post-surgical recovery.

Our team of highly skilled nurses, certified caregivers, expert physiotherapists, and visiting physicians deliver meticulously personalized care plans tailored to unique individual requirements—whether a patient is recovering from major hospitalization, navigating the complexities of a terminal illness, or simply requiring consistent daily health assistance. At Guardian Crest Care, we transition professional healthcare into the environment that matters most—your home—ensuring your loved ones can heal, age, and thrive exactly where they belong.

Our Professional Philosophy: Redefining Home Care in Kerala

Kerala’s unique demographic landscape—characterized by a rapidly aging population, the shift toward nuclear family units, and a significant diaspora of young professionals living abroad—has created a critical demand for structured, dependable home care. Guardian Crest Care was founded to bridge this gap, replacing informal arrangements with a model of clarity, accountability, and clinical professionalism.

Here is an elaboration on the core pillars that define our approach:

1. Person-Centered Care vs. Task-Based Routines

Standard home care often falls into the trap of “task-checking”—simply ensuring a patient is fed or medicated. At Guardian Crest Care, we reject this mechanical approach.

Holistic Wellness: We prioritize the emotional and psychological well-being of the individual alongside their physical health.

Individual Agency: Our care plans are built around the patient’s preferences, hobbies, and personality, ensuring they maintain a sense of identity and autonomy while receiving support.

Jithin V Thomas

Managing Director & CEO

Jithin Thomas is an entrepreneur, academic, and healthcare professional whose journey reflects strategic reinvention and disciplined growth.

Born in Kurianad, near Kuravilangad in Kottayam, Kerala, he was raised in a culturally rooted< yet education-driven environment. His early schooling took place in his hometown and later in Hyderabad, Telangana—exposing him to diverse academic settings at a young age.

His academic foundation is extensive and layered. He earned a Bachelor’s degree in English Literature and Communication Studies, followed by a Bachelor’s in Education. He later completed Master’s degrees in English Literature and Psychology, building both analytical depth and behavioral insight. This academic trajectory led him into academia, where he worked as an Assistant Professor in India and the Middle East, shaping young minds while refining his leadership and communication skills.

However, he recognized a ceiling in traditional academic pathways. Seeking larger impact, autonomy, and long-term value creation, he pivoted toward entrepreneurship. Relocating toLondon, United Kingdom, he completed an MBA at Northumbria University London Campus. That move was not just academic—it was strategic. It expanded his exposure to international business systems, governance structures, and operational scalability.

Alongside his academic and corporate development, Jithin has been associated with multiple business ventures in Kerala, gaining practical exposure to management, branding, and cross- border operations.

His transition into the UK healthcare sector further sharpened his operational discipline and regulatory understanding. Working within structured British care frameworks gave him firsthand
insight into quality standards, safeguarding practices, and clinical governance systems. This experience directly shaped the vision and operational model of Guardian Crest Care in Kerala.
Jithin Thomas combines academic depth, international business education, frontline healthcare experience, and entrepreneurial execution. His leadership approach is structured, compliance- driven, and growth-focused—aimed at building sustainable institutions rather than short-term ventures.

He represents a blend of educator, strategist, and healthcare entrepreneur—bridging global standards with local execution.

Shoji Aji

Director of Clinical Services

Shoji Aji serves as the Clinical Service Manager at Guardian Crest Care, bringing more than 24 years of advanced clinical experience from the United States healthcare system. Her career reflects steady progression, international exposure, and a deep commitment to structured, evidence-based care delivery.

She began her nursing education in India, where she developed a strong foundation in patient care, medical ethics, and hospital-based clinical practice. After gaining hands-on experience in India, she moved to the United States to expand her professional scope. Through continued education, licensing, and rigorous clinical training, she advanced into the role of Nurse Practitioner in Miami, USA—a position that requires high-level clinical judgment, independent decision-making, and direct accountability for patient outcomes.

As a Nurse Practitioner in the United States, Shoji functions at an advanced practice level. Her role involves conducting comprehensive patient assessments, diagnosing acute and chronic medical conditions, ordering and interpreting diagnostic investigations, prescribing medications, and developing structured treatment plans. She also coordinates multidisciplinary care, ensuring patients receive integrated and continuous support. This role carries authority comparable to primary care providers in many clinical settings and demands both technical competence and strategic clinical thinking.

Over the course of more than two decades, she has managed complex medical cases, contributed to preventative healthcare strategies, and supported long-term disease management initiatives. Her work has consistently focused on improving patient safety, strengthening documentation standards, and maintaining regulatory compliance within highly structured healthcare systems.

At Guardian Crest Care, Shoji applies her international clinical expertise to oversee care protocols, nursing standards, and overall service quality. She plays a central role in guiding evidence-based practice, supervising clinical assessments, strengthening documentation accuracy, mentoring nursing professionals, and reinforcing governance systems. Her leadership ensures that care delivery remains clinically informed, risk-managed, and aligned with international healthcare benchmarks.

Shoji Aji brings depth of experience, professional maturity, and advanced clinical competence to Guardian Crest Care, providing strong medical oversight and strategic clinical leadership that supports safe, accountable, and high-quality care services.

Anjitha Sudheer

Director of People and Organisational Development

Anjitha Sudheer serves as the Director of People & Organisational Development at Guardian Crest Care, where she leads workforce strategy, culture building, and professional standards
across the organisation.
Her academic foundation began in healthcare with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS). Dentistry demands precision, discipline, ethical responsibility, and patient-centred care—principles that continue to shape her leadership philosophy. Clinical training instilled in her a strong understanding of safeguarding, hygiene protocols, documentation standards, and accountability—core elements in regulated care environments.

Recognising the importance of structured management and organisational systems, Anjitha expanded her expertise by pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration (BBA). This
shift was strategic. It equipped her with operational insight, workforce planning skills, and a deeper understanding of leadership dynamics.

At Guardian Crest Care, she is responsible for:

  • Building structured recruitment frameworks
  • Developing professional training pathways
  • Designing performance evaluation systems
  • Strengthening organisational culture
  • Ensuring ethical workforce governance

Her role is not administrative—it is structural. She focuses on aligning people strategy with service quality. In a sector where staff stability directly impacts client safety, her work ensures
that caregivers are not only compassionate but also professionally trained, accountable, and supported.

Anjitha brings a rare combination of clinical sensitivity and management discipline. She approaches organisational development with measurable systems rather than vague motivational
language. Her priority is sustainability—retaining talent, maintaining standards, and creating a culture where caregivers grow professionally while delivering safe, dignified care.

Her vision for Guardian Crest Care is clear: build an organisation where structured leadership, ethical practice, and workforce excellence directly translate into consistent, high-quality care
delivery.

She believes strong organisations are not built on promises—they are built on systems, standards, and the right people in the right roles.

She completed her Master’s in Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology from Manipal University, where she received advanced clinical training in speech, language, hearing, and rehabilitation sciences. Through her academic and clinical background, she has developed strong skills in evaluating patients and designing personalised therapy programs that support long-term recovery and independence.

Before joining Guardian Crest Care, Jesna gained valuable experience working in some of the well-known hospitals in Kerala, where she worked with multidisciplinary medical teams and managed a wide range of cases. Her work involved supporting patients recovering from neurological conditions, developmental disorders, and medical complications that affect speech, language, and swallowing. This experience allows her to deliver therapy that is not only clinically effective but also practical for patients receiving care at home or in assisted living environments.

At Guardian Crest Care, Jesna plays an important role in strengthening the organisation’s rehabilitation-focused care approach. She works closely with clients, families, and caregivers to identify communication challenges early and provide targeted therapy that improves confidence, safety, and quality of life. Her therapy sessions are tailored to each individual’s condition and goals, ensuring that progress continues even outside formal therapy through guidance and support for caregivers.

In the care settings supported by Guardian Crest Care, Jesna works with elderly clients who may experience speech or swallowing difficulties after stroke, Parkinson’s disease, dementia, or other neurological conditions.

She also supports patients who require rehabilitation following hospital discharge, helping them regain communication skills and maintain safe swallowing. In addition, she works with children who have speech or language delays, as well as individuals who face voice or communication difficulties due to medical or developmental conditions. Her contribution to Guardian Crest Care goes beyond therapy sessions. By integrating speech and language services into the care model, she helps ensure that clients receive more complete and clinically supported care rather than basic assistance alone. This approach improves recovery outcomes, supports patient dignity, and reassures families—especially those living abroad—that their loved ones are receiving professional, well-structured care.
